Der US-Programmierer, Buchautor und Computerzeitschriftenherausgeber David H. Ahl wurde im Jahr 1939 geboren.
Er war Herausgeber der englischprachigen Computerzeitschrift "Creative Computing" in den USA.
Schon Anfang der 1980er Jahre hatte er ca. 20 Bücher und über 200 Fachartikel geschrieben.
